This foundation Level 2 Food Safety course can be accredited through the HABC or RSPH. It can also be run as non-accredited course with an in house certificate and tailored to your business needs.

The Level 2 course is run over one day or 6 hours on a modular basis plus a 1 hour multiple choice exam.

Level 2 Food Safety Course Profile:
This course is our most popular food safety course, this is a starting point and essential for all food handlers.

Completing the Level 2 Food Safety course provides key information that will ensure your staff know the correct methods and principles of food handling, understand their legal requirement and keep the consumer safe. 

Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will receive a Level 2 Food Safety certificate and will be able to:
• Understand how they can work in a safe and healthy manner
• Identify key hazards in their own workplace
• Be able to understand and utilise rules and working practices of food hygiene
• Understand the implications and results of their actions
